Bahadurgarh, also known as the Gateway of Haryana; is a sub-district in the Jhajjar Distt. of Haryana, India. It consists of 31 wards. It is approximately 2 kms away from the tikri border of Delhi, the capital of India consisting of a total area of 50 km2. It is an integral part of Delhi NCR (National Capital Region). It is one of the fastest cities of NCR to develop largely on the scale of industry and economy.Everything has been going fast in the city, from the establishment of Industries to becoming an educational hub, Bahadurgarh is in its prime time and currently is seeing its all round development. The population of the city is also increasing with employment opportunities being made available to more and more people every upcoming day‌; the residential growth is also increasing with the development of colonies.

History of Bahadurgarh: Mughal Ruler Alamgir II founded Bahadurgarh in 1754. He was the ruler of Delhi from 1754 to 1759. It was first named Sharafabad but then changed into Bahadurgarh by the Baloch Rulers of Farrukhnagar who were given the sovereignty later. In 1793, Sindhia occupied Bahadurgarh but later was defeated by the British in 1803 and the rulership was given to the nawab of Jhajjar. After Jhajjar was abolished as a state, bahadurgarh became a part of it and is still growing to becoming an important part of the country.

Climate of Bahadurgarh: The climate of Bahadurgarh is local steppe. There is very little rainfall. According to the Köppen-Geiger climate classification, this climate is called BSh. The average temperature of the city is about 77.18 F. The annual precipitation is approximately 510 mm. Together with the monsoon season, the city experiences all four seasons towards the later half of the year. Summers are usually long and hot, covering the monsoon season from early April to October. While winters begin in November and continue until the end of February. With a few sunny days, the winters are usually cold and foggy.

Education in Bahadurgarh: Due to the presence of many Government & Private Institutions and Colleges, Bahadurgarh is considered to be an education hub. Some of the most reputed colleges include PDM University, Management Hr. Institute of Technology (HIT), BLS Institute of Technology, Delhi Tech Campus (DTC), AKIDO College of Engineering, MERI Engineering College, Ganga Technical Campus, Sat Kabir Institute of Technology, Vaish Kanya Mahavidyalay, Govt. PG College for Boys/Girls. There are also many schools (more than 100) including some of the most reputed ones SR Century Public School, Bal Bharti, DAV Centenary Public School, Heyan International School, Scholars Global School etc. which are affiliated to CBSE and other recognised boards.

Transport in Bahadurgarh: Bahadurgarh is well linked by highways, railways (including national railways as well as Delhi Metro) to other parts of the country. National Highway 10 is the main highway that passes through the area. The highway links Bahadurgarh to Delhi, Hisar, Rohtak and other Haryana towns. Multiple public transport modes such as taxis, buses, e-rickshaws and auto rickshaws are available. Since 24 June 2018, Bahadurgarh has been connected to the Delhi Metro. The project has 11,182 km of route length and Rs. 1991 crore cost. Haryana donated Rs. 787.96 crore. From Inderlok / Kirti Nagar to Bahadurgarh Metro Station Brigadier Hoshiyar Singh.

Official Statement from HUDA: Bahadurgarh town is situated at a distance of 37 kms on Delhi-Hisar National Highway No. 9. From Delhi ISBT. The city is very well connected with Haryana's Delhi and other important cities such as Rohtak, Hisar, etc. The DMRC metro line is running from Munka to Bahadurgarh City Park. It is an important city where haryana government is developing about 450 hectares of land for purposes for industry. The city specializes in the manufacturing of Sanitary Glass, Chinaware, Galvanized Steel Pipe, Footwear, etc. HUDA has already floated and developed residential sectors 2,6,7,9-9A and 13 including Modern Industrial Estate.
